Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Developing and executing annual local business plans to secure new revenue streams.
  • Cost & Opportunity Analysis: Assessing account potential, performing “share of wallet” analysis, and managing budgetary investments.
  • Single Point of Contact: Acting as the primary liaison between mine management and Sandvik to support the delivery of products and services.
  • EHS Leadership: Implementing Sandvik Global EHS standards
  • Operational Efficiency: Providing site-level insights into innovations

Essential Profile Requirements

  • Education: Matric (Grade 12) with a formal qualification in Business, Mining, or Engineering.
  • Certification: A valid driver’s license is mandatory; a Mine Overseer Certificate of Competence is highly advantageous.
  • Experience: Proven track record in business development and sales with demonstrable growth results.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Sandvik products, rock technology, and mining applications is preferred.
