Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• 5 years’ experience in food retail
• Experience in managing resources
• Strong customer service orientation

• Basic reporting and Excel skills

Key Responsibilities

Food Safety & Hygiene

• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards
• Ensure proper stock rotation
• Monitor health and safety compliance

Customer Service

• Assist customers with queries
• Handle out-of-stock situations
• Maintain service and department standards

Staff Management

• Communicate important updates to staff
• Set targets and delegate tasks
• Handle non-compliance issues

Administration

• Ensure equipment is maintained
• Monitor waste and enforce procedures
• Maintain operational standards

Systems & Reporting

• Conduct gap scans for stock issues
• Record overstock and out-of-stock items
• Generate and manage Excel reports
• Communicate stock issues to planning teams
