Sandvik Mining is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure high-level compliance at our Northern Cape operations. This role is vital for safeguarding our employees and maintaining international safety standards.


Programme Overview

The Safety Mandate

  • Metrics: Providing and analyzing key safety performance measures.

Essential Profile Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12/N3 Technical (NQF 4).
  • Diploma: National Diploma in Safety Management (NQF 6).
  • Credentials: Certified Safety Officer and OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor.
  • Health: First Aid certificate and Fitness for surface mining.
  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license and English proficiency.
