Sasria SOC Limited invites applications for its 2026 Bursary Scheme.
The programme supports financially deserving matriculants who have demonstrated strong academic performance and intend to pursue undergraduate studies in fields aligned with:

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen with a valid SA ID
- Be between 16 and 20 years old
- Have completed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Achieve a minimum 70% matric average
- Have taken Mathematics (Mathematical Literacy is not accepted)
- Come from a household earning below R600,000 per annum
- Not be related to a current Sasria employee
Meeting all criteria is mandatory for consideration.
Fields of Study Supported
The bursary funds bachelor’s degrees in:
- Insurance or Risk Management
- Mathematics or Statistics
- Finance
- Accounting or Economics
- Computer Science or Information Technology
Applicants must be accepted at a recognised South African university.
Funding Coverage
Applicants may choose one of the following:
Full Bursary
May cover:
- Tuition fees
- Accommodation
- Other approved study-related costs
Partial Bursary
Covers either:
- Tuition fees only, or
- Accommodation only
Funding decisions are based on:
- Academic performance
- Financial need
- Alignment with Sasria’s priority fields
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following certified documents (not older than three months):
- Certified copy of South African ID
- Proof of residence
- Certified copy of latest Grade 12 results
- Certified copies of parent/guardian IDs
- Proof of household income or affidavit if unemployed
- Self-employment affidavit and three months’ bank statements (if applicable)
- Death certificate (if a parent is deceased)
- Affidavit if applicant lives alone
Each uploaded file must not exceed 8 MB.
Motivation Requirement
Applicants must submit a short motivational paragraph (approximately 10 lines) covering:
- Academic achievements
- Leadership experience
- Reasons for applying
- Career goals and intended contribution to the industry
