About the Bursary
The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) invites South African citizens and permanent residents to apply for funding to pursue postgraduate film and television studies at accredited international institutions.
This bursary aims to develop advanced skills that will contribute to the growth and global competitiveness of South Africa’s film and television industry.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen or permanent resident
- Have a strong academic record
- Demonstrate financial need
- Be accepted or enrolled for full-time postgraduate studies at an accredited overseas institution
- Apply for a qualification not available in South Africa
- Apply at least six months before the course start date
Exclusion: Live performance and acting programmes are not eligible.
