Programme Overview
The Engineering for Change (E4C) Fellowship is a global workforce development programme at the intersection of engineering and sustainable development. It empowers early-career engineers and technical professionals to address critical local and global challenges through real-world, impact-driven projects.
The fellowship combines structured learning, hands-on project work, and professional networking to build practical experience and long-term career growth.
Fellowship Structure
The programme consists of three core components:
- Learning Programme: Professional and technical skill development
- Impact Projects: Hands-on work on real-world development challenges
- Networking: Collaboration with a global community of engineers and change-makers
Fellows participate part-time while gaining practical experience and expanding their professional networks.
Eligibility & Application Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be or become an Engineering for Change (E4C) member (free to join)
- Submit a Resume/CV (in English)
- Provide email addresses for two references
- Review available 2026 Impact Projects and select three preferred projects
- Complete the application in English
Additional Notes:

- Shortlisted candidates may be required to submit a 1–2 minute video introduction
