Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in:
- Water / Urban / Natural / Environmental Science
- Civil or Electrical Engineering
- Or related qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in water sector management
- Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities
- Develop operational plans for wastewater compliance
- Monitor wastewater standards and systems
- Ensure compliance with legislation
- Advise management on policies and strategies
- Manage compliance monitoring programmes
- Analyse monitoring reports
- Compile provincial wastewater reports
- Oversee wastewater treatment facilities
- Support maintenance planning and implementation
- Develop and implement remedial action plans
- Manage Green Drop programme implementation
- Improve wastewater quality systems
- Lead unit (staff, performance, resources)
