Bursary Overview
Sappi offers bursaries to support students pursuing Engineering and Forestry Science degrees at South African universities.
The bursary may cover:

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 17 – 25 years old
- Be in Matric or have completed Matric
- Achieve:
- 70% in Mathematics (not Maths Literacy)
- 70% in Physical Sciences
- 60% in English
- Intend to study full-time at a recognised university
Selection Preference
Preference will be given to:
- Students from communities near Sappi operations
- Applicants who meet or exceed academic requirements
