ASSMANG (Pty) Ltd – Manganese Division, Black Rock Mine Operations (BRMO), invites eligible students and matriculants to apply for its 2026 Bursary Programme.

Engineering
- Mining Engineering (2) – BTech / Advanced Diploma / BSc
- Mechanical Engineering (1) – BTech / Advanced Diploma / BSc
- Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) (1) – BTech / Advanced Diploma / BSc
- Industrial Engineering (1) – BTech / Advanced Diploma / BSc
- Metallurgical Engineering (2) – BSc or BTech in Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering
Other Technical Fields
- Mine Survey (2) – Bachelor of Mine Surveying / Advanced Diploma
- Occupational Hygiene (2) – BTech / Advanced Diploma / Degree in Environmental Health Science
- Geology (1) – BTech / Advanced Diploma
- Information Technology (1) – BTech / Advanced Diploma / BSc IT
Minimum Requirements
1. Matriculants
- South African citizen, aged 18–35
- Bachelor pass / University exemption
- Preferably accepted into university for 2026 in one of the fields above
- Not funded by another bursary or sponsorship
2. University Students
- South African citizen, aged 18–35
- Enrolled full-time at a SA University / University of Technology
- Studying in one of the fields listed above
- Strong academic performance: minimum average B-symbol
- Must have passed all subjects
3. Appointment Notes
- Preference to local learners in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality
- Priority also given to persons living with disabilities
- Shortlisted applicants will undergo interviews and psychometric tests
- Document verification will be required
